A Certain Slant of Light

I like the character of James very much.

These characters have each accumulated over a century of experience on Earth, being human and following humans, and yet they both feel like children. The characters are mesmerizing and provocative. The night is not needed for rest- it’s merely an annoying darkness for several hours.

When Helen went into Jenny’s body it felt a bit more like a YA book, but it was still an adult book.

What made me end up with 3 stars rather than 4 was that Helen really did act a tiny tad too stupid at times just so that she would provoke a new conflict and the ending, which somehow wasn’t really my thing, but that doesn’t mean it was bad. Feb 28, Asghar Abbas rated it it was amazing.

That said, I really, really enjoyed this book. The font used was a little old-fashioned and the paper – a little on the thin side. Brown who holds a special place in her heart.

All you twi fans will get that one.

This book is about two ghosts who fall in whitcojb. I would, however, highly recommend it for fans of romance, ambiguous morality, and ever-so-slightly open endings. Yet this boy’s expression never changed, and next moment, he was staring at the blackboard again.
