The first three novels in the series are easy to obtain the U. Knife Edge Noughts and Crosses. This fourth book in the slightly misnamed trilogy picks up shortly after the explosion that ended Checkmate, and Callie Rose is working through the trauma and guilt based on that. This book finalises the Noughts and Crosses series.

Along with that 16 years of knowledge, Callie Rose is shown to have a long standing grudge against her mother, Sephy. He puts a great deal ccross money in Byron Sweet, one of McAuley’s minions, to frame him as a traitor.
Toby is in love with his best friend, Callie. There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Most of the story crosss concentrated on Tobey and his poor judgment, which often made me want to climb into the pages just to smack him. It shows how money, or the lack of it, can be the motivation for good kids to do bad things. I didnt like Tobey as crosss character and the things he did just didnt make sense.
There is no Liberation Militia in this book, only two rival gangs with Tobey in the middle. Adding to Alex’s troubles is the escape from prison by his arch nemesis.

Tobey reminds me too much of Callum. Explore douuble Home Gift Guide. Whilst the first book sets up so many questions about modern society, this second addition to the series delves even further into the dark crevices of a corrupt way of thinking. For me personally, the ending feels a little open, as if there could, some day, be more to come, although I really don’t think Blackman could surpass herself this time! Patterson is a very good writer, but this book didn’t live up to what I have come to expect from him.
Sephy and Callie Rose are only tangential presences most of the time, and the book hurts for their absences. Double Cross didn’t focus as much vouble the Noughts and Crosses, but instead on the underworld.
